Unfortunately, I do not have the actual PowerPoint for this presentation but I do have the notes that I wrote out of my accomplishments.
Project 1: Marioff Newsletter
This project falls under marketing communications. I assisted with the creation, editing and distribution of the 2nd quarter's newsletter. I first collected topics and write-ups from my team and wrote the sections. Then I used Constant Contact where I gained experience in email marketing and maneuvering the editing tools. Constant Contact supports businesses in building successful, lasting, customer relationships. The purpose of our newsletters is to communicate various type of useful information like: Webinars/ Trainings, Tradeshow highlights, NFPA updates, and links to new tools to help distributors become more self sufficient. The final copy was sent to 340+ emails on our database.
Constant contact reports campaign statistics that can be compared to previous newsletters. Openings went up to 40% and clicks 30%. The reports are also a good determination of clients who have a genuine interest.
Project 2: Market Feedback Analysis
I compiled April's '12 MFA data to presented. Pirjetta Rukola set me up with the feedback responses from SurkeyMonkey. The survey had a total of 19 sections and went out to 280 people (76 companies). Then with Adam Tracy, I plugged in numbers, performed calculations and made graphs out of that data. We calculated survey percentage change for each category per question, collective average changes from the year prior and the importance of each category surveyed. With this project, I learned the importance of the voice of the customer.
Project 3: The Bow Skyscraper Project Case Study
I helped develop the case study for this skyscraper in Calgary, Canada. This was my favorite project because I was fully left to do this on my own. I did in-depth research on the HI-FOG product and The Bow construction project to write this.
Case studies are important because they tell a positive story and provide a real life example of why a company chose a product and how well it's working. In HI-FOG's case, this case study proves to be helpful in demonstrating value. HI-FOG is European and with that comes the negative connotation of it being an unnecessarily expensive product. The buyers in the case study were actually in the "local market" and saw the benefits of this product regardless.
I created this mock up which was sent to Crane Fire Systems and the building owner for first-hand quotes and review.
